How to delete your account
Account deletion is available directly inside the Drevva app — no separate request is needed.
- Customers: open the app, go to Account, and select Delete Account.
- Mechanics: open the app, go to Profile, and select Delete Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted. Your account is deleted immediately unless you have a payment still in progress (see below).
If you'd rather not use the app, email support@drevva.com from the address on your account and we will process the deletion manually within a reasonable period.
When deletion is temporarily blocked
To avoid leaving a genuinely unresolved matter orphaned mid-way, account deletion is blocked while either of these is true:
- You have an open dispute on a job (as either a Customer or a Mechanic).
- You are a Mechanic with a payment still pending from Drevva for a job you've completed.
In either case, the app tells you this directly, and deletion becomes available automatically once the matter resolves — a dispute is reviewed, or a pending payment reaches you (normally within a day of confirming a completed job).
What gets deleted

What is retained, and why
Individual job records (which mechanic served which customer, the amount charged, and the outcome) are not deleted when you delete your account. They are retained for financial recordkeeping, tax, and dispute/fraud-investigation purposes, consistent with our Privacy Policy. These records are no longer linked to an active account of yours once your account is deleted, and are not used for any purpose beyond recordkeeping and legal compliance.
